Snake Mission Accomplished...

The most perfect snakey was found this weekend at the New England Reptile Expo (or something like that). Her name is Guadalupe, and she is a yearling ghost corn snake. That means she's a year old. ha. Here are some pictures:

She's totally awesome!! I decided I should try to feed her today, so I defrosted one of the 50 frozen, dead baby mice I purchased at the expo:

from the guy with the best 3-D size chart we've ever seen:

From all the information I've read online, I thought feeding her would be a chore...but she chomped on that baby rat right away. She didn't even care if it had pieces of bedding stuck to it. I hope that's ok...hm...well she has a well-snakey visit scheduled with the local snake vet next Monday.

Meanwhile, I'm exhausted from my freakin' 2 hour commute home from work today. Stupid 91S. Want to hear about it? It's on the damn news on ABC...I just saw it on a commercial and it brought back painful memories. I have to lie down.

P.S. I had some keys made at the Home Depot, and they suck. Suck=non-functional. Why can't people make keys that work? If they can't, they shouldn't be in that line of work.

I was going to ask if Lupe ate yet. Was it cool to watch?
How did you feel about defrosting the mice?
Will the snake poop up the bones or will it barf them up?
